Doin’ Work with Marvel Universe Live!

Let me start by saying that I’m a huge superhero nerd. I’ve been reading comic books since…well, since I could actually read. Marvel characters have always been my favorite, and as a dad of two daughters, words cannot describe how happy I am that my girls are superhero fans just like their old man.

But when I heard of the new live-action show called Marvel Universe Live! Age of Heroes I knew that I wanted to take my family to see it (like I said, I’m a comic nerd, so I was in from the jump). However, when I learned that it was being produced by Feld Entertainment, I was even more excited.

The brilliant folks at Feld Entertainment are the ones who produce Disney On Ice. I mean, who hasn’t seen that show, right? They’ve also produced Monster Jam, Disney Live!, Monster Energy Supercross, and more. I was lucky enough to check out the show behind the scenes to see what it was about, and I was extremely impressed.

I felt like a superhero at Feld Entertainment’s HQ.

I’m not going to give too much away here, but the cast and crew are some of the most dedicated and talented young men and women you’ll find in showbiz. They practice for 12 hours a day, 6 days a week — and they LOVE it. There’s nothing I want to do for 12 hours a day except for sleep, so I must give credit where credit’s due.

But let’s talk about the show itself.

It is sooooooooo good! I mean, edge-of-your-seat type awesome. All of the A-list Marvel heroes are in it. Captain America, Hulk, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, etc. The stunts, story, and action are all top-notch. Needless to say, if you have a superhero fan in your home, you should definitely check out the show.

It debuts on July 7th in Los Angeles, and my family will be there.

But if you don’t live in the Los Angeles area, be sure to check when it’s playing in your ‘hood. You won’t regret it.

If so, then share it on your favorite social networks by using the buttons above! C'mon, don't be shy.  You can also subscribe to Daddy Doin' Work via RSS or email to be notified of new rants, revelations, and random thoughts.
