The Perfect Holiday Gift is Defense Against Boo-Boos

The holidays are here! The snow is falling, the chill is in the air, and you bought presents for the loved ones in your life.

Oh wait, you didn’t buy presents for everyone yet, did you?

That’s OK, because I’m here to help. Chances are there are some parents on your holiday shopping list.  Do you know what those parents do not need? Another loud toy that turns itself on in the middle of the night or clothes that their kiddos will grow out of before springtime.

Get them a gift that they’ll actually use. What is that, you ask? Band-Aid bandages and Neosporin—the amazing sponsors of this post you’re about to read.

We all know that Band-Aids transform those painful boo-boos into moments of caring and happiness. They have all types of designs too, my favorite being the Finding Dory ones.

And I rocked it proudly.

Neosporin + Pain, Itch, Scar provides maximum strength pain and itch relief for cuts, scrapes, and burns — and also minimizes the appearance of scars.

I know what you’re thinking — “What kind of a gift is that, dude?” My answer is it’s a very good gift, that’s what.

One thing that all of our kids have in common is that they will get hurt. Slips and falls, minor kitchen mishaps when you or the kids are baking cookies, etc. – they happen to the best of us. But have you endured those accidents without Band-Aid bandages or Neosporin nearby? If the answer is yes, I’m sure it wasn’t pleasant for you.

If you want to be a really good friend to the parents in your life, create a simple first-aid kit with Band-Aids and Neosporin inside and stuff it in their stockings. It will cost you under $10 and the “meltdown-saving” peace of mind you’ll provide to them will be priceless. Trust me — any mom or dad would prefer that instead of a toy that their kids will be bored of by New Year’s Eve.

It’s an honor to partner with Band-Aid and Neosporin to show the world how much I truly value their products. My parents used them on me as a kid and now I get to return the favor and use them on my girls — and we all benefit from it.

Because in reality, no matter how good of a parent you are, it’s impossible to escape from life’s inevitable boo-boos. You can do your part to help navigate those minor bumps and scrapes with gifts from Band-Aid and Neosporin that keep on giving.

If so, then share it on your favorite social networks by using the buttons above! C'mon, don't be shy.  You can also subscribe to Daddy Doin' Work via RSS or email to be notified of new rants, revelations, and random thoughts.

Such a good idea. I never thought about loading up on Band-Aids as stocking stuffers, but I’m going to do it this year because my kids are so accident prone :) Happy holidays, Doyin!
